Each year The Norwegian Businesspaper "Dagens Næringsliv" in cooperation with DnB Nor bank and PricewaterHouse Coopers, nominates the "gaselle" of each county in Norway. Among more than 400 other companies Norwegian Deck Machinery was number 1.
The "gaselles" are an important part of the Norwegian business scene and they represent an area characterized by considerable exitement and interest. Theese companies are fast growing companies creating lots of new jobs.
The criteria to become a "Gaselle" company are as follows:
- Delivered approved financial statements
- At least doubled the turnover during the last four years
- Turnover to be at least 1 million the first year of business.
- Positive operating results all years of business
- Avoid negative growth
- Must be a private Limited Company
"We are very proud to have recieved this award" states NDM`s Sales manager, Rebecca lerch Dahl.
"It proves that it is possible for a company like us to compete with the long time existing suppliers of deck machinery."
n Januar 2008 NDM opened a branch office in Shanghai and getting the office in Shanghai oprerational before the financial crisis has been a very important part of the growth.The next year will be a tough and exiting year, but Rebecca is optimistic.
