Norwegian Deck machinery AS is owned by Spir VNE Systems which again is owned by SPIR AS.

Spir AS is a Norwegian investment company mainly focusing on the maritime, energy and oil and gas industry in Norway. The company was established in 2010, but have strong roots in the major owner, Køhler Gruppen.

Køhlergruppen stands behind companies like Sørco, Apply, Nemo Engineering, Maritime systems, Teknisk Bureau, Leirvik Module Technology, Nordialog and also SPIR.
